Federal Government Publishes National Zero-Emission Freight Corridor Strategy

The Federal Government’s Joint Office of Energy and Transportation has published a National Zero-Emission Freight Corridor Strategy. The Strategy charts a future for zero-emission heavy-duty freight transportation across America. AAPA is proud to see the Strategy emphasize a heavy focus on ports as the central nodes of the freight supply chain. The Joint Office has drafted a plan that will phase in electric charging and hydrogen fueling stations over time, starting at the nation’s busiest cargo ports and radiating outwards as economies of scale grow and technologies advance.
